| We had a great weekend away (pictures to come soon). It's such a gorgeous place up there. No place I'd ever want to live, but nice for a getaway. I love love love my new car. Like seriously love and Microsoft Sync is pretty much the coolest thing ever. I love hands free talking in the car, it's awesome. Syncing the itouch is pretty cool too. Anyone else watching FlashForward? It was awesome and I can't wait for tonight's episode. Work hasn't been too bad lately. HUGE shocker there! I amazingly don't have any complaints. Pat and I are awesome. Beyond awesome. His aunts from northern Maine are staying with us tomorrow night. Should be interesting, I've never had house guests before. This was one of the most random posts of all time. |

| Can you believe that Sunday makes one year of marriage already?? Seems like just yesterday I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to get everything done. Insane. This weekend we're headed up to Rangeley, ME for a little rest and relaation. We're staying here:

| I just checked the blog and the first time I mentioned this car was back in February of 2007. Now I have one. Last night we bought a 2008 Ford Fusion SEL and I'm in love.

| Yep - I am a klutz. I don't know when that happened, I used to be pretty coordinated. I tripped up our granite steps a few hours ago and split open two toes and split the #2's toenail right in half. I also jammed my knee on the opposite leg. It hurts. Luckily Pat is used to this crap and he cleaned and bandaged me up.
But it still hurts. |

| Pat's favorite type of cake is carrot cake. So instead of doing something cutesy I decided to make something he'd truly enjoy. I present to you, my very first homemade carrot cake (with homemade cream cheese frosting). I even processed the freakin carrots. Yeah, I pretty much rock as a wife. Just don't ask me to clean.
